Missions Vision:

Missions are one of the primary channels God uses to transform lives both outside and within the local church congregation. Calvary Baptist Church’s mission efforts focus on meeting the needs of individuals that are “un-churched”, both in the community and around the world. The ultimate goal of each mission effort is to share Christ with each person ministered to and to see their life transformed into a new life in Christ.

The four cornerstones of the Calvary Baptist Church Missions Vision are:
• Praying
• Educating
• Giving
• Serving

We UNDERGIRD every mission project with prayer and seek God’s direction and leadership. Our members are encouraged to pray daily for our missionaries serving around the world and to seek God’s direction for their own lives. This includes their personal involvement in missions on the local, state, home, or international levels.

We INFORM our members of the needs of our missionaries and the needs of our mission projects through various media. We educate our church family on the Cooperative Program, Special Missions Offerings, and mission ministry opportunities.

We ENCOURAGE our members to support our missionaries through the Cooperative Program and Special Missions Offerings. The Cooperative Program and Special Offerings provide the means for our missionaries to reach people for Christ around the world.

We PROVIDE our members a variety of opportunities to go beyond the church campus and minister to others. Our members find their place of service as they feel God leading through opportunities to participate in mission projects locally, in the US, and around the world.
